Hello friends of Palmer And Sons. We thought it would be better if we gave you a private webpage showing what we have been up to lately rather than sending some giant image laden email. As part of a group that has shown interest in what we do we also wanted you to be the first to see a new product which has not been launched yet.

It's our new No 97a Camera Case. Measuring around 10" x 4" x 4" and shown here in London Tan. We expect to make these primarily in bridle leather as they need the stiffness. Solid brass rivets throughout and this particular prototype includes Jack's new solid Cocobolo handle design which we will be offering as an option instead of our usual laminate Cocobolo handles.
We wanted a bag we could use to carry around our camera and bits without it being made of ugly nylon. Those nylon camera bags are great when you have all sorts of bits to carry, i have two or three, but they look pretty nasty.
The No 97 has been tested out on our most loved ones. The image is of the 2nd major prototype and a few changes will make their way into the first production version, likely the top will be made to overhang the bottom by 3/4" either edge.
Of course you can also use it to carry your lunch, sleepover necessities etc. It comes with a detachable shoulder strap made with the same attention to detail as our Belts. If you are interested in ordering this design before it hits the public in the next 3 weeks or so then please get in touch directly.
Next Up.
Jack has been working on a new Cuff #12b.

Finally we wanted to just quickly show a few other things we have worked on..

We also worked with customers on custom orders of No 01 M's. Typically this bag is ordered in Vintage brown leather, however lately we have tried to make more of these in our Buffalo Leather which are twice as thick and just feel awesome. Shown below is Havana Brown (left) and Wenge Brown (right). Wenge Brown is a new leather we have found from South America and comes from the same tannery as the Havana Brown and has the same excellent quality to it. Using the thicker leather on these #01 M's really ads some heft and body.

Jack and I would like to say thanks for supporting our studio and designs.
Our Kindest
Nik & Jack Palmer
